Thai Name: Krathon / กระท้อนห่อ
A tropical fruit , which is oval to round in shape and 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 inches in diameter. It is yellow, tinged with brown, in color and has a thick velvety rind. The fruit's flesh is a translucent white and is segmented into five sections. Eaten fresh, often without peeling as the rind is edible. Fruits are also candied as well prepared into alcoholic beverages.
Scientific Name: Sandoricum koetjape Merr.
