Plum Sauce is a chutney-like amber colored seasoning and dipping sauce. Sweet, spicy and pungent in flavor it is famous as a condiment alongside Peking Duck (and therefore sometimes called Duck Sauce). In Thailand plum sauce is a favorite accompaniment to spring rolls and crab or shrimp rolls. Serve it with any deep fried dish for a zesty contrast.
