This delicious Thai red curry paste was produced and packaged by the respectable Mae Ploy brand based in Thailand. This product is used throughout Thailand by Thai people, and now this authentic flavour can be used at home wherever it is. This exact mixture is made up of red chilies , garlic, lemongrass, salt, shallots, kaffir lime pee, galangal, and shrimp paste. The reason for red curry being so popular is that each of these special elements is blended together to form a truly unique taste. Usually, the cook would have to prepare each component of the mixture before cooking could commence, adding hours to the preparation time. But, by using this product, the cook can now make delicious food and have time to enjoy it.

Combining this with coconut milk, fish sauce, palm sugar, and other additives will create a delicious sauce to which beef, chicken, pork, and fish can be added. Also, try making dishes with bamboo shoots, eggplant, or zucchini for a more vegetable oriented taste. Red curry paste is also the main ingredient in Thai sausage and fish cakes, which can be added as side dishes to the main course of red curry served over steamed rice.

Easy to Use: Mae Ploy introduced this larger sized 1kg tub because red curry is such a popular food to make in Thailand and around the world. They have also made this tub resealable, so the wide range of flavours remains fresh while stored in the kitchen.
