Hot Pot Rice Cakes - Chinese New Year Cake 450g by TT

Cook some vegetables and meat in water, Add the rice cake and bring to boil then cook for another 2-3 minutes, add seasoning before serving.

Rice cake does not have much flavour on its own, so try cooking the rice cake directly in a stock, broth or soup so it absorbs other flavours.

The cooked rice cake also make a great light lunch. Instead of serving in a hot pot, serve plain with a flavourful dipping sauce of sesame oil, soy sauce, rice vinegar, red chilli, garlic and spring onion.

Ready to cook.

Ingredients: Rice (70%), Water, Salt.

Once opened, keep refrigerated and consume within 3 days.
