Ingredients: Water, Sugar, Soybean Oil, Ginger Bud, Onion, Salt, Chilli, Tamarind (4.6%), Pineapple, Tomato Paste, Lemongrass, Garlic, Acidity Regulator (E330), Thickener (E415), Flavour Enhancer (E631, E627).
Woh Hup Assam Sauce (Spicy Tamarind)
Cooking Suggestion: Assam Fish (Serves 4)
Pour in 250g (16tbsp) of Woh Hup Assam Sauce into 500ml of water. Mix well and bring to boil. Add in 700g of sliced fish and 250g of parboiled vegetable of your choice. Chilli Padi may be added if you wish for a more spicy taste. Simmer until the fish is well cooked.
Add in 2 tomatoes (cut into cubes) and heat through. Serve hot.
Store in cool and dry place protected from direct sunlight.
Refrigerate after opening.
