Fresh Yellow Plum Mangoes (Maprang) 500g - Imported Weekly from Thailand

Yellow Plum Mangoes, also known as Maprang, Gandaria and Marian Plum is a tropical tropical tree fruit common in Thailand, Malaysia and other south-east Asian countries. 

This fruit in similar in shape and size to eggs and resembles small yellow mangoes. When cut open, it has bright orange flesh and each plum mango contains a seed/stone similar to that of a standard mango. The flesh of this fruit can vary in flavour but is commonly distinctly sweet with hints of sour and tartness.  

Yellow plum mangoes are typically eaten fresh out of hand with the skin (although the skin can be removed if preferable). 

Eat them fresh, alone or add them to a fruit salad.
