Noodle Sauce for Sichuan Dan Dan Noodle 240g by San
Sichuan dan dan noodles are one of Chengdu's most famous dishes. The noodles are named after the dan dan, or pole, that street vendors would carry over their shoulders whilst selling the noodles. And this ready made sauce makes the spicy-sesame dish possible in just a couple of minutes. To make classic dan dan noodles, fry a little minced pork and mix together with the sauce. Serve with boiled noodles and chopped spring onion greens.
The dan dan noodle sauce can also be used as a dipping sauce, in the filling for dumplings or to flavour a Sichuan-style simmered both.
Contains 8 x 30g sauce sachets.

Serving suggestion:
Cook and drain 100-150g of noodles and place them in a bowl. Stir in 1 sachet of noodle seasoning and mix well. Read to serve.
