Singapore Laksa Paste 190g by Woh Hup
A dish of Peranakan (Straits-born Chinese) origins, Singapore Laksa is traditionally prepared with thick rice vermicelli in a rich and spicy coconut base gravy and ground dried shrimps cooked to perfection. Prepare this local favourite in your own kitchen with Woh Hup Laksa Paste!
Ingredients: Onion, Water, Sugar, Soybean Oil, Dried Shrimp, Salt, Chilli, Lemongrass, Galangal , Thickener (E1422), Shrimp Paste (Shrimp, Salt, Water), Acidity Regulator (E270), Garlic, Turmeric, Flavour Enhancer (E631, E627)
Cooking Suggestion: Singapore Laksa (Serves 4-6)
Bring 400ml water to boil in a pot. Add in 80g (5tbsps) of Woh Hup Laksa Paste, 2 pcs of sliced fish cakes and 2 pcs of fried bean curd puffs. Stir well and bring to the boil.
Add in 25g of coconut cream powder or creamed coconut and bring to the boil.
Add in 80g of cooked rice vermicelli and 5pcs cooked deshelled prawn.
Serve hot.
