Thai Hot Honey Recipe
You might have heard of hot honey but have you tried it with a Thai twist? Hot Honey has been the trending home-made sauce of recent years and if you’ve ever tried it you will know exactly why. Delicious and naturally sweet honey infused with spicy ingredients to create the ultimate sweet but fiery condiment to drizzle on all of your favourite recipes! Our recipe is infused with delicious fragrant Thai herbs and ingredients for a unique Thai flavour and spice.
Now, you’re probably thinking sweet, spicy and Thai… doesn’t that just make it a Thai sweet chilli sauce? Not exactly, hot honey has its own distinct flavour that differs from sweet chilli sauce and definitely still tastes like honey, just with more depth of flavours. Plus there are so many variations of hot honey while sweet chilli sauce generally tends to have the same resulting flavour across various recipes.
Easy to prepare and only requiring a few ingredients, there’s certainly no reason to buy a pre-made version of this sauce. One of the best things about making your own home-made hot honey is customising the flavours and spice levels to your liking. Feel free to adjust the ingredients in our recipe to suit your taste!
Ingredients:
- 680g Honey
- 2 Tbsp Chilli Flakes
- ⅛ Cup Sriracha Sauce

- 3 Garlic Cloves (lightly crushed)
